OUR PASSION FOR FOOD

At the Jailhouse in Kaikoura, we believe we have created delicious food which can be easily adapted to suit a variety of dietary requirements. It was our intention to create a menu with this flexibility from the concept of the business. This is achieved with our homemade style cooking, we even have a dedicated gluten-free fryer.
Our Burgers are very 'Kiwi' style with homemade sauces & patties.
Our Souvlaki is greek style with homemade flatbread & tzatziki.
Our American Hotdogs have a little bit of a European twist, with our homemade tomato sauce, they are a must-try.
